Background

About Me

Andres Hinojosa

I'm a first-generation college graduate from Escondido, California. I was raised on curiosity and a lot of figuring things out on my own.

I went to CSUSM for my BS, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 3.73 GPA, and kept going. I completed my MS in Computer Science in May 2026, working under Dr. Nahid Ebrahimi Majd on a thesis about delegating cyber threat intelligence on the Sui blockchain.

My research has been funded by DHS and the U.S. Department of Education through programs including LAEP. I've published four papers and I'm eager to learn and contribute more.
